Alphabets

Welcome to the alphabets section!

We currently have an alphabets' training tool where you can improve your reading skills by typing out letters transliterated in Latin. Our tools are based on character frequency in actual texts - the most frequently used characters are introduced first, increasing the chances that you will remember them.

Available alphabet training tools

  • Japanese Hiragana - practice the 46 basic letters of the Japanese Hiragana alphabet by typing most frequently used Japanese words in it
  • Japanese Katakana - practice the extended Japanese Katakana alphabet by typing commonly used foreign words like country names and Japanese slang

The best way to experience this is simply by trying - give it a shot!
